KADERES supplies medical and pharmaceutical equipment to hospitals, dispensaries and health centres in Karagwe and Kyerwa District. Also KADERES helps in renovation of health facilities.
So far medicine and hospital equipment worth about 625.000 USD have been distributed and six health facilities have been renovated.
KADERES supports distance-learning education in partnership with Life Training Institute of Dar es Salaam. The courses provide entrepreneurial knowledge and skills to young people. Since 2011, forty students have been enrolled.
KADERES is also helping in constructing Kitwe Secondary School. The school is able to take 360 students.
KADERES and our microcredit offices sell solar torches to smallholder farmers without access to electricity. To avoid kerosene lamps for environmental, economic and safety reasons KADERES is offering a microcredit for the SUN KING Solar Lamp.
Agriculture / livestock keeping
We organise the organic certification for the small farmers, which is really just organizing paper work because traditional Gardenfarming has no need for pesticides and fertilisers.
To provide a sustainable system we offer Chicken Starter Programs that enables the small farmers to raise livestock for fertilizers, secondary income and protein-providing food as well.
